~ A good ole walk and talk on CREATIVITY. What is it? How do people come up with creative ideas? What and why are you creating?
I jump off from some debriefing from Frank Miller’s conference talk about his artistic origins and thought processes on creating comics – both drawing and writing. I also discuss Alan Moore and Yoshihiro Togashi as fellow inspirations and get into some of their lessons and mentorship as well.
I feature my own journeys and advice on the topic of writing novels, coming up with ideas for stories, and the importance of outlining — and boundaries — in coming up with solid, workable, and lovable ideas.
